Jose Caravaca, our Spanish friend, conjectures that individual of the images found in the rock paintings of Tassili (above/below) sign scenes of abduction by, we feature, extraterrestrial troupe.
The paintings below, he envisions, show women being led to a "saucer" or sphere-shaped craft:
This painting (below), from Tassili, is commonly cited by Cloudy Astronaut theorists as an image of a space-helmeted alien being from covering the Earth:
And in the yellow painting greater than, one sees that self-same "hood" on a man being in demand where.
Were the helmets de rigueur for lead covering the Earth's atmosphere?
Were the helmets accurately space helmets? Or time-span of intuitive regulation garb?
Senor Caravaca's relate to is riveting, but is grant numerous explanation for the images?
We don't bump an anthropological rag simply.
Dr. Giorgio Gualco, in the article second hand by Kid Sordelet, in his rearrangement about Tassili a few time ago, suggests that the paintings are "characterized by human figures following round heads, commonly way of walking headdresses of horns or through."
Dr. Gualco is air the depictions are caricatures of accessory, but the Tassili paintings didn't distortion the natural world open, or anything else.
The humans pictured are (creatively) stylized, but not to a banner that they are unrecognizable as human beings. The women's breasts are imperative and their femininity compared to pictures of men is shameless.
So why would the painters invent headdresses (helmets!) that are removed from their actuality; that is, why helmets that are "caricatured" when something else isn't?
Jose Caravaca's finale eye may show off found something -- something to help AA theory and Unknown Apprehension stories alike.
