makes me feel like it's time I put my two cents in.
All of a sudden, it has become popular to denigrate the field. Now everyone from every corner of the field is turning their back and turning up their nose. When did this start exactly? Who was the first person to knock down a domino? And why is it that the Ghost Hunting Field isn't following suit?
In fact, even the Cryptozoologists are separating themselves from the negativity, which has me considering a new field in which to focus my time and energy. But everytime I entertain the thought of leaving Ufology, I think about all the other people walking away and I start to see Ufology as this once full house that is now almost empty and on the verge of collapse.
The researchers who were the foundation aren't doing their job. The researchers who furnished this great house of Ufology have left dust in their place. You would think younger researchers would rally together and proclaim this a small blemish on the field that can be easily fixed. But no, instead half of them are growing weary with the backstabbing, the lack of viable information and worse, the fallen (once) heroes of the field.
It is now acceptable for Ufologists/Paranormal researchers and investigators to talk shit about the field with no consequence. And why should there be? It's not a 'real' field of study. It's just a hobby for rejects. It's one of those fields you 'fall' into when you're a kid, dabbling with the occult and getting your ass kicked in the school yard for being a little too smart.
It's the red-headed stepchild of Science. The Paranormal is where all the freaks go when they want to feel special. I get it now. It's reject central. So if you make it out of freakdom if you write a book, or two
if you start a successful blog
if you get a TV Show/Radio Show
you become too cool to be in the Paranormal field. You just have to get out and spread your wings.
Right?
I so totally get it now!
The problem is, I don't think many of you should be allowed to walk away so easily. In fact, I think some of you should be held accountable for what you have done. This is the Paranormal Fields version of Arthur Andersen. There is plenty of fraud in the field, committed by the people who 'supposedly' helped to build it in the passed few decades.
Some cases that were absolute bunk were given too much attention. Other cases weren't explored enough. Some researchers backed fraudulent claims and hoaxers and even created hoaxes. I am not going to waste time naming names, because frankly, right now I just don't give a shit. But I am trying to make a point, and the point is the people who started this shit need to clean it up.
It has become acceptable to just walk away from the field and turn a blind eye at what previous generations have done to a field that could have gained more respect, if not for certain people's inclination to share the spotlight and make shit up as they went along. Ufology/The Paranormal could have been something more. And it's not like I didn't see it gaining ground.
Heck, the Vatican said, 'Yes, there might be ALiens!' And then their are various projects enacted for Disclosure, like the Freedom of Information Act. And no, we didn't exactly figure out what happened at Roswell, but everyone and their mother has heard about it. Alien Invasion films are usually blockbusters. Little kids follow the adventures of Invader Zim and every other animated Alien.
And why? Because Ufology/The Paranormal broke ground somehow. The field slowly but surely seeped into the Global subconscious so that many more people believe in other life in the Universe. More people report UFO sightings. More people talk about their Haunted houses. More people want to know about Life after death, and that curiosity is why shows like 'Medium' and 'The Ghost Whisperer' have ratings.
The fact that some researchers have been on Larry King and that NOVA and the History Channel cover UFOLOGY (no matter how biased, warped or critical it may all be) is enough to confirm we have come a long way baby and we are making great strides. But somehow, somewhere, people started getting weary and greedy and dispassionate. Fine. I am not saying no one has the 'right' to walk away.
That was never point to begin with. My point is, clean up your shit on the way out. And once you are gone, stop talking about it. We don't need your bad vibes, and we certainly don't need any more ill repute because the only thing you can find to talk about is how much Ufology/The Paranormal sucks. Because it doesn't. It is just another outlet for solving the mysteries of this world we live in. Until someone can definitively give us all the answers, I suggest we stop acting like one method or one particular field is more important and respectable than the other.
Because at the end of the day, whether you leave UFOLOGY/The Paranormal behind or not, it's still a part of your legacy. The shit storm you left behind will haunt you.

Went outside, always look at sky, low clouds moving in, turned to look north west and spotted two lights in sky, seemed close, one was purple in color the other bright white. The white light then zoomed toward the purple colored light which brightened with the approach, the white light then circled the purple light stopping momentarily in three locations around the purple. The purple transformed momentarily to white, seemed to be crippled as it maneuvered poorly. The white light continued to move around, towards and away. Went inside to recover cell phone for camera, got a couple of stills but the objects descended over horizon, the purple maneuvering in circular motions only. Could have been Private UAV's with lights attached? As the motion was similar to radio control, speed and air time seemed excessive for these types of vehicles, lights seemed to brighten just in advance of movement. Do not have camera at this time or would include stills.

Two unexpected UFO related items:
The first, from Lisa Shiel, of the Bigfoot Quest blog. Shiel has shared her knowledge of restricted airspace in relation to government/military testing of craft. "(The Truth About UFOs and Restricted Airspace.)" Shiel questions the almost meme lake idea among many UFO researchers that many craft (like the Triangles) are military. Shiel insists they aren't ours, since they can't be flown over civilian/populated areas. Furthermore, there is plenty of restricted airspace where these flight tests can be done. So why fly over public areas here and in other countries (as with the case of Triangles.)Excellent points, and good solid factual data. I respectfully have a nagging argument here though: just because the government isn't supposed to, doesn't mean they won't, can't, and don't. I don't know if the Triangles, for example, are ours, ET, or something else, but I do know one thing: they exist. I've seen them.
Shiel writes about the Bigfoot UFO connection, and it isn't completely surprising she would have UFO entries on her blog, though her focus is on Bigfoot. Which brings me to this nice tie-in concerning self-promotion: the current issue of UFO Magazine includes my column on Lisa: "Wild Women: Weird Bigfoot Research."
The other unexpected find was a UFO report, made by someone here in Eugene, Oregon. The report was from January 22nd of this year. I followed the link from UFO commentator and researcher Billy Booth to UFO Casebook. It's an interesting sighting: different, and seems to be of two objects, as well as a possible humanoid creature.
Then I saw the name of the witness: Nahu. Nahu is the author of "UFOs: God From Inner Space "and other books, and the subject of my next article for UFO Magazine!

The last sighting happened in Sandy Springs on Sept. 16.
A Sandy Springs resident walking their dog near High Top Road spotted something in the sky at 8 a.m. A few days later, the resident filed a report about the unidentified flying object on UFOstalker.com, a website that collects witness accounts and publishes them anonymously.
"I was finishing my walk with our dog, walking through our courtyard, when I saw four round spheres in a line," the resident wrote. "They were several hundred feet in the air, I would estimate 500 feet. They were in two sets of two, and basically stationary while slowly rotating. One was reddish in color, the other three, gray."
The resident later added, "I swear to the truthfulness of this sighting."...

ConspiracyArchive: Thanks for granting this interview Mr. Beckley, I'm honored you've agreed. I wanted to talk to you about the Hollow Earth Theory. I consider your book "Subterranean Worlds Inside Earth" the best introduction to the subject, so maybe you can tell us how you became interested in the subject and what made you write the book?
Timothy Beckley: I have always been interested in the paranormal - the offbeat. The house that I grew up in was haunted by the spirit of a young baby. I know, because my mother and I heard the sound of a baby crying and followed little shoe prints in the snow to the back gate before they disappeared. into thin air. There were also poltergeist phenomenon - like lights going on and off and doors opening and closing. Once a plate fell to the floor without breaking, after sliding across the kitchen table.
At age 10, I had my first of three UFO sightings. Two brightly lite discs circling overhead. One positioned itself across the street over an abandoned factory building before disappearing. It vanished as if someone had pulled a light switch.
I used to take books out of the library and bought a copy of Frank Edwards Stranger than Science when I was in the fifth grade I guess it was. I used to listen to talk show host Long John Nebel who was heard in 30 states over WOR in New York. I was to become a regular guest on the show years later. He was around a long time before Art Bell. He had all types of far out guests. He interviewed Ray Palmer and Richard Shaver via beeper phone (I have taped copies of this interview which I sell to Shaver fans).
I started writing when I was 13. I had a small publishing company that issued little pamphlets and a regular newsletter called The Searchlight, which was all about Shaver. You see Ray Palmer had the only newsstand magazine on UFOs. It was called Flying Saucers From Outer Space (later it was shortened to just Flying Saucers). Gray Barker of They Knew Too Much About Flying Saucers fame used to do a column for the magazine called Chasing the Flying Saucers. When he stopped doing the column I offered to do a column in its place. RAP would give me a free page of ads in exchange for doing On the Trail of the Flying Saucers which ran pretty much till the magazine went out of business. Of course, Palmer has been deceased a long time now but every once in a while I still speak to his son who is Ray Palmer - but not Jr cause he has a different middle initial!
ConspiracyArchive: So how did this put you in touch with Richard Shaver?
Timothy Beckley: Well of course for many years Shaver was part and parcel of almost everything Palmer did in the field. Shaver and I corresponded. I would get a letter from him every few days. Not very well written and on a typewriter that had not had its ribbon changed in years it seemed. I was 16 years old I think and Shaver would send me a box of his picture rocks like clockwork every week or so. My mother dreaded the arrival of the box as the rocks were right out of Shaver's yard. The box was filled of dirt and worms and god knows what.
Shaver, Palmer and I had a lively debate going for a while over the reality of the subsurface world. I put a lot of this material together into a book that was published by Barker's long since defunct Saucerian Press. The Shaver Mystery and The Inner Earth went through several printings. By the time I was 17 my career as a writer was itched in cement I guess you could say...even though I had just about failed English in high school. Today our companies Inner Light Global Communications have about 85 titles in print by authors like Commander X, Brad Steiger, Tim Swartz, T. Lobsang Rampa. A bootleg edition of The Shaver Mystery is sold on the net by Health Research. ConspiracyArchive: Most "UFO researchers" today might consider the Hollow Earth theory a "crack-pot" subject, but since the beginnings of the modern UFO sightings it has been intimately connected with "UFOlogy" - especially early contactees. Why do you think this has been forgotten?
Timothy Beckley: Unlike most folks who consider themselves UFO researchers and paranormal investigators, I have never had a deep set belief pattern. Some UFOs may be interplanetary craft, but the majority have to be placed in some other category. During radio and TV interviews the host will always ask what is MY opinion about UFOs. I always tell him it doesn't matter what my opinion is - as UFOs act independently of my beliefs or anyone else's!
What really got me thinking about this inner earth stuff was back years ago there were three miners trapped in a cave in Pennsylvania. It was all over the newspapers and radio back then. They were not expected to survive after three or four days of not being heard from. They were eventually rescued. In the hospital told about after two days or so they saw an eerie light in the cavern where they were trapped. They followed it and came across a door that lead to beings who gave them food and water so they were able to stay alive.
There are so many legends that tell about miners trapped in caves who have experiences with a race of short beings.
To this day I don't know if Shaver was simply repeating these stories that he could have heard, or if was really in touch with these tero and dero.
Shaver's writings were titillating and well written. Palmer probably jazzed them up as I never found Shaver to be a very good writer. Palmer was a real pro. Some say he was responsible for starting the flying saucer mystery with the Maury Island "hoax". If anything he did keep the mystery alive during its lean years. We need a few more Palmer's in the field today. I'm afraid today's breed of self professed "experts" are a wee bit boring!
I'm afraid I am a bit of a fence setter. All this could be real or none of it could be! But we should investigate such matters. Beats watching TV 18 hours a day.
Actually, I am a bit more predisposed to believe in the Shaver Mystery rather than accept the idea of openings at the North and South Poles. Not totally convinced of this theory yet. Want to see more proof.
And while Shaver and Palmer are long gone since gone from our realm their spirits definitely live on. There is still a great deal of interest in what they wrote, and a whole new generation that wants to be exposed to what they had to offer the world. If I have my way I will continue to be a source for what they had to say!...

It's come to my attention that someone using the name 'Gareth Hawley' is claiming to be a 'General of Trollface Division' in the Silver Legion, and attempting to use this status in order to harass and 'ban' people from the Silver Legion.
Gareth Hawley, to the best of my knowledge, is not a member of the Silver Legion and is not entitled to speak for us, or ban people now, or ever, from the Silver Legion. I don't know who this person is, and he appears to be an internet troll intent on stirring up trouble.
To edify and clarify, here are some of the things that can get you banned from the Silver Legion:
Deliberately (or falsely claiming an accident in) killing or harming, or attempting to kill or harm a fellow Legionnaire, ally, civilian, or person under our protection.
Deliberately providing intelligence about Silver Legion or allied operations to an enemy.
Deliberately sabotaging missions, equipment, or other aspects of an operation.
Utilizing Silver Legion personnel, equipment, or other resources for the purpose of giving oneself power over others for personal gain. (Please note, this would include utilizing Silver Legion resources to harass people who don't agree with you on the internet - the Silver Legion does not consider a person's internet commentary to be worth that kind of effort in most circumstances, as we have far more important things to spend our efforts on.)
Here's some things that won't get you banned from the Silver Legion (in fact we even encourage these):
Questioning or refusing a mission or 'order' on ethical, moral, or other similar grounds.
Questioning the decisions of the administration when they don't make sense or are stupid.
Exercising critical thought and judgement in all circumstances.
'Insulting' administration and 'command' (ok, we don't encourage this, but you're still allowed to do it. In some cases it's even appropriate - hey, we make mistakes too, and it's occasionally good for us to get called out on that).
So as you can see, Gareth Hawley, by his own actions, isn't a Silver Legionnaire, and if he ever was on any level, wouldn't remain one after attempting to use us to abuse people who disagreed with him.
Furthermore, there are still reptilians left in the universe. The Silver Legion is fully aware that the reptoids, aggressive as they are, are not the entire causative factor in this whole mess, though they're greatly involved. Nor are they all 100% culpable - many have 'quit', so far, and we expect this behaviour to continue. A genocide on the reptilians, as viscerally satisfying as that might be for those of us on Earth who have been suffering their depredations, would still not address the factions that used the reptilians as a tool here, nor would it undo the damage. It would simply kill a lot of beings indiscriminately. There are more constructive ways to deal with the problem than simple genocide. Same thing with 'demons', a classification of which is generally not made clear (are we talking people that look monstrous to us? Members of the demonic species types? People demonized to us by the monotheistic three? Hostile ETs/EDs?). There's no 'demon hell', and Thomas Williams doesn't exactly have to worry about being banned from the Silver Legion, considering he's already pretty deeply involved with us.
So if you run into Gareth Hawley, feel free to tell him what you think about him. It's not going to affect your chances with the Silver Legion in any way. As I've said before, membership in the Silver Legion is not contingent upon any form of internet or online participation. This is not an e-group you can join on the internet. If you want to join the Silver Legion, find some way to meet us with your consciousness. Whether that's astral projection, bilocation, sleep visitation, or something else entirely - you do it with your consciousness and your mind, not with your keyboard and your internet connection.

I've viewed the footage, and it's either the real thing, or it's a very clever CGI that somehow manages to look exactly like a particular and specific type of Silver Legion point operational craft - which would in turn imply that the CGI creator had some kind of knowledge about the craft to begin with. Another Silver Legionnaire that I'm in close contact with agrees with that assessment.
Does this imply that our problems with landing are over? Well, not likely yet, I'm afraid. It didn't land, after all. It just flew around there, presumably carrying out whatever its particular mission was. (And before you ask, no, I don't have that information. For me to have specific information on the missions and locations of our craft at any given time would not only be a hell of a lot of not so relevant data for me to carry, but it would also be a liability if I were to be intercepted.) But it does have positive implications - at the very least, if we're able to get a low altitude sighting, probably some of our tech can work as intended, even if we're not yet capable of getting boots on the ground.
This kind of craft is not the kind of craft we'd use for landing; as I mentioned it's a point operational craft, which means it typically performs very specific missions (point operations) - and these don't usually involve interacting with Terrans directly. Some of the people on those missions have permission to try to make the ships seen to the general public if the opportunity arises. Others are required to conceal themselves. The kind of mission this craft would be on would be the former.
