But this item, and the Jim Marrs story of Roswell hospital ghosts, inspired this thought.

Something about all that snow and ice and the unseen makes it all the more unwordly and creepy. (I'm not an ice and snow person, maybe that has something to do with my unease.)

Several days into this I felt the urge to talk to the thing, feeling pretty much nuts since I hadn't even believed in UFOs a few weeks ago. I said, "If we are communicating, then move." My husband was watching from another room and didn't hear me say that, but he yelled, "Hey, it's moving!" It moved around like the point of an etch-a-sketch when you jiggle it around but it moved back to its original position. I thought, "Okay, that's a fluke," so I said it again. And it moved the same way again. Then, a few nights after that (I can't really pay attention every night because I work and have small children) I got out my phone and decided to tape a little. I said, "Okay, if we're communicating, then move." It disappeared immediately. I was nonplussed and moved my camera around looking and suddenly realized the light had jumped about 25 degrees to the right. I laughed because it seemed like a game to me. I have this on tape, but I'm sort of nervous about posting it. The night after it happened I came home and there were two military helicopters circling our neighborhood for about two hours. I've lived in this area for a long time and I'm used to military air craft but I had never seen anything like that before. It rattled me, because I think they were looking for something and I think it had to do with the sightings. Several nights after my post I was watching the "star" and, because we are near to Ft. Bragg, I was looking around to see if there was any other activity in the air. I was sitting on a swing set in my backyard and staring straight up when it seemed like the stars were wobbling. As I watched, I compared the position of the stars to the trees that were stable and noticed that it seemed as if the stars were "off." Looking in this area made my eyes ache as if I were looking at a bright light but it was dark so it seemed weird that my eyes were hurting. As I watched to figure out what was going on, the edges of something huge and black were barely noticeable but the backdrop of stars would suddenly look normal as if something camouflaged had moved past them so I was seeing the real thing. Then I noticed that the "stars" were moving in concert with one another and then I thought that it might be some huge cloaked object with lights made to look like the stars -- maybe stealth technology? But there was absolutely NO noise and it was bigger than anything in the sky I've ever seen. I don't know how close it was because there was really no reference point. If it were as high as a regular airplane flies, it is gigantic. Then a few nights ago I went to Robeson County for Thanksgiving, not really thinking about my Friend or anything but when I stepped outside there it was. I was delighted because I feel excited every time I see any of them. The sky is much clearer out there in the country and I noticed there were a lot more of those "stars" but they seemed smaller or further away. They were moving around. There were also several of the lights that moved together, making it look like there were a lot of those large dark ships in the sky. Some of the lights were directly above us and when we would say hi they would sparkle on and off. I finally broke down and got some binoculars from Walmart to try to see what the Friend looked like. It is like a roundish cell of dancing light divided down the middle, but you can't always see the black line because it rotates. Finally I said, "I'd like to see what you are because I can't tell." Then it turned and looked like a ring of prism fire. The best way to describe it is it looked like an eclipse looks like when a planet blocks out the sun, like a black hole in a strange fire. Then it rotated again and looked like the glob of light again. Just now (Nov. 30th at about 10 p. m.) I went outside to see if any of them are out. The one I usually see is not visible, but there is one in the Eastern sky. It is very bright but smaller than the one I usually see. It also is bright white with a red light. I have no idea what any of this means. I want to let everyone know this stuff is real, take it from the former ultimate skeptic. I'm still trying to explain it but the more I see the harder I get. I wish others in this area would start watching and try to help me understand what in the world it all is. However, I have to say I have felt weirded out but ultimately I feel very friendly with them, as if they are pen pals that I finally am getting the chance to meet in real life.

I admit, I have a habit of posting stuff in groups, like when I am talking about UFO's I tend to continue to post about UFO's for a bit before turning my attention to something else. Let's face it, there are so many unsolved mysteries and so little time....

So, as far as UFO's go, one of the most difficult part of investigating any sighting is proving the credibility of the witnesses. We all know folks who will make up a story just for some attention, or others who will try to cash in on someone else's story and make it their own.

So when a UFO sighting is made by a police officer, it tends to lend credibility to the sighting, and validity to the story. Police officers are trained to be observant, take good notes and in my experience most of them are pretty sceptical of things they don't understand or believe.

Take this sighting for example:

"On December 31, 1978 in the United Kingdom, Darwin, Burnley, Lancashire, Following reports by several members of the public of an aircraft about to crash two uniformed police officers observed a UFO the size of a double decker bus as it slowly made its way across the sky. The object had a tail three times the length of its head."

Or this one:

Wednesday's (Dec 10) episode of UFO Hunters, "Arizona Lights" was a giant step backwards for the non-investigation of what I call, "The Massive UFO Flyover of Arizona, March 13, 1997".

First, and most minor was the moon that was imaged early in the telecast; any witness to the 8:30 massive V shaped craft would tell you that on March 13, 1997, around 8:30 PM, MST, the moon would have been a "bottom quarter moon setting" in the west southwest. I know this is minor, but I do insist on being as historically correct as possible.

With that said, I would also like to YELL in disgust, in regards to the constant visuals (throughout the show) of the 10:00 PM "more than likely intentional diversionary flare drop"; no wonder the world is confused as witnesses describe the massive V shaped craft floating quietly throughout Arizona, while they are shown videos of flares.

It reminds me of a television news reporter describing a tragic wreck between a school bus and a dump truck while showing a video of a wreck with a cement truck and a Cadillac. It's wrong! But, as I've been told so many times before by producers, "you cannot report a sensational story without video. So, even if it's wrong, it's what we have to do so they (Americans) will pay attention".

In an attempt to associate the flare drop with the 8:00 hour UFO event, UFO Hunters performed (another) idiotic experiment using "hand launched" Coast Guard flares. Anyone who has studied the Phoenix Lights case knows that Dr Bruce Maccabee said in his report of the distant lights, "that they would have had to been ignited at or near 16-17,000' altitude in order to be seen in the mountain side homes in the metro Phoenix area"; not launched like a bottle rocket that has a "maximum" altitude of 1000'! This was no scientific experiment what so ever. This was more UFO Hunter pseudo science that only proves that the 2008 season is a mirror of the terrible 2007 season. i.e. the Stephenville, Texas case where they launched a large weather balloon and claimed it to be a "UFO"... what a joke!

These distant lights (flares) repeatedly shown are not over Phoenix and probably not even over Maricopa county... so the claim by the UFO Hunters that the "red orbs" were above Phoenix in the 10:00 PM videos in wrong.

In June of 2008, I was asked by James Fox to be in this episode, as he was the guest producer. At this time I lived app. 110 miles away in Prescott Valley, AZ. I told James that I was very concerned about the "job" the UFO Hunters doing; I told him of the debacle of their showing of the Stephenville case and how terrible it was. Also, they failed to get the most important witnesses to that case. I told him that I did not wish to be a part of the destroying of the Phoenix Lights case. It's just too important.

Then came a series of e-mails with the producers of UFO Hunters, Dave Pavoni, Rob Blumenstein, and Jenna Singer. They all promised and promised that the new UFO Hunters are so very different and that I should be on and see for myself. I took advice from a very trusted source and demanded to be paid for my trip, expenses, and to be present for interviews of new witnesses. I wanted some type of control to help make the show more historically correct. After all they had not a clue of the case. I was told "no".

What does a kid's petroglyph's finding have to do with this case? Nothing! What does known hoaxer Jeff Willes have to do with this case? Nothing. His daytime footage is incoming aircraft and he knows it. That's why he edited it. These two should not have been a part of this presentation and have nothing to do with the case.

I am so incredibly satisfied that I was not a part of this B grade episode.

Out of the entire show, there was "one segment" that passed muster-Terri Mansfield was right on. Her reporting was complete and accurate and the animation was one of the best yet of the massive V shaped craft. It correctly shows what many witnesses claimed as it passed overhead; like looking thru water. This was by far the most accurate part of the entire program. Great job Terri!

I really thought earlier this year when the UFO Hunters did the stories on Kokomo, IN., and the sightings Illinois that indeed they were doing much better. But, last night's show was a giant step backwards. As I claimed in my Stephenville, TX. review, they (UFO Hunters) punted the proverbial UfO "football" clean out of bounds and into the stands.

I often find myself frequenting the forums over at Above Top Secret (ATS). Its an interesting place with a very eclectic collection of posters and topics. Everything from UFOs to Chemtrails can be found at this mostly cool site. Honestly, as most places on the net that deal with these topics, though it has its fair share of the 'True Believer' types. While I was perusing the site earlier today this thread popped up, 'Disclosure Dates have dried up.' I recommend that you check it out for yourself, but I will summarize the posters thoughts. Basically it seemed like for a long time on ATS, there were daily threads about Disclosure being imminent. Usually the threads were from the websites of the usual suspects behind these shenanigans (i.e. David Wilcock, Stephen Greer, or Michael Salla). Always with titles like 'Disclosure Imminent', or 'Disclosure By Year's End'. For about a year or so it was almost all you could find in the UFO section at Above Top Secret. Needless to say it got a little tiresome, more so because Disclosure is probably bullshit.What I mean is that the government is never going to 'disclose' anything about the UFO phenomenon. And no its probably not because of secret treaties signed to allow for abductions, or in exchange for advanced technology. They aren't going to 'disclose' because (spoiler alert!) they don't know anymore than Ufologists do. I will wait while you wipe the coffee or drink that you spit out on your monitor up. Or give you a chance to wake up from fainting. I know this news is likely shocking to you. The 'all powerful' government has to know everything right?I think its much more likely that the reason there has been no official disclosure is because ultimately they (the ubiquitous 'they') also don't really have an idea as to whats behind the UFO phenomena. Now don't get me wrong, I'm sure they have better film or video footage or perhaps even some tangible evidence (of the solid crafts that seem to fly through our skies at least). But beyond that? They've got nothing. And if news of that got out it would be more upsetting than the 'disclosure' of ET's to religion. Most American's assume that we are reasonably protected by our Military. But the US Military can in no way, shape, or form stop these things from doing whatever they want. (I'm not arguing motivations of the 'aliens' right now, obviously if they wanted to take us over War of the Worlds style they could have thousands of years ago).The US Military, by having the reality of UFOs disclosed, would be admitting to an amount of impotence that they likely can't afford to show. The easiest way to control the situation would be through, oh I dunno say 60 years of ridicule? Anyway feel free to disagree with me, but I think that this makes the most logical sense as to why there has never been, nor will there likely ever be, Disclosure of any kind. At least on the part of humanity, anyway.
